SYDNEY SURF LIFESAVING - LIVE STREAMING

Hello and welcome back... My daughter showed me a show called Bondi Rescue the other day and now i'm hooked.

I used to love listening to Surf Lifesaving when they were on analog radio but since the SLSA switched their radios to DMR, (Digital Mobile Radio) I can no longer pick them up on my UBC396XT.

Some later Uniden models can, with a upgrade, (and $60) pick up DMR, but my trusty 396xt can't.

But all is not lost.

Someone has a live stream on Broadcastify. The page says it covers Illawarra, Sydney Beaches and Central Coast beaches.

From the sound of it, i think its a repeater site but no idea of frequency... still i can listen now.

To the person streaming this site, many thanks.

Maybe in the future i may get a scanner upgrade with DMR or order a new DMR Chinese brand radio (just for listening, no transmitting)
