NEW CONTROL TOWER FOR RAAF RICHMOND / WILLIAMTOWN
Hello and welcome back... NSW Government is spending $400 million to replace Richmond & Williamtown Air Control Towers while HMAS Albatross (Nowra) gets upgrades.
Richmond Tower getting a makeover.
The new ATC facility at RAAF Base Richmond will include a 24.9-metre tall Tower, along with a two-storey Airfield Systems Complex containing office areas and workshops, classrooms, meeting areas and amenities.
Work has already begun and is expected to be finished Dec 2018
