Hello and Welcome Back... Motor Racing is Back at Eastern Creek on the weekend.. Already Has Been the past fortnight with another 2 weeks to go.. Then Bathurst..
Mind you, I was nowhere near the racetrack... I was at home, in Springwood, Blue Mountains but i was still hopeful...
I plugged my scanner into the main antenna on the roof while watching the start on TV and ... Nothing.
Although my antenna needs some work, i was hoping for at least something... as a last ditch attempt, i plugged my scanner into my other antenna sitting on the outside awning, as it uses the awning roof as a ground-plane and...Bingo
I was getting hits, left right and center..The best frequency was under the label 'Gary Rogers Motorsport on 465.9125mhz, This was like a live camera feed that seemed to be monitoring the race and different camera views.. it was amazing that i was able to pick it up as i was roughly about an hour away and yet, was still able to pick up the camera feed clear as day...
All the rest of Hits i picked up, i labeled them accordingly.. i imagine if i was track-side, i would have gotten more hits, but i was happy with what i got..

Just about all cars are NXDN as they have a RAN number (Random Access
Number) which is a NXDN thing...
