Just tucked at the right hand of Sydney Airport is home to several Helicopter Company's such as 'Black Ops Helicopters', 'Blue Sky Helicopters', 'Sydney Hele-Charter', Sydney Heli-Tours (Pic above & below) and more...
There's no real place to photograph the helicopters unless you get them coming in above you, like i did in the photos on this page as there is a huge black fence that surrounds the Helicopter area... I did notice that my zoom lens (200mm) didn't seem to worry about the fence at some angles which is good but you just get the back of the chopper...

Sadly, most helicopter company's at Sydney airport don't rely on 2-way radios (that i know of) so comms is limited instead relying on mobile phone..
