BLACKHAWK HELICOPTERS TRAINING AROUND SYDNEY

Hello and welcome back..... Up to four Black Hawk military helicopters will be flying over parts of Sydney over the next few days as part of an Army training exercise.

The Defence Force says the exercises ensure aircrews are proficient at flying in Sydney’s urban, suburban, rural and waterway environments in all conditions.
It says flights will occur during the afternoon and evening, normally not later than 11:00pm
The Army says the training has been designed to have as little impact as possible but some noise will be noticeable.
The helicopters were flying over Castle Hill in north-western Sydney last night.
Tonight they will be in Sutherland, they will be in Holsworthy and Londonderry on Friday, Monday and Wednesday.
The choppers will fly over North Head next Tuesday.
